In reference to the delivery of a specific amount of medical oxygen; A single dose of oxygen delivered by POC (Personal Oxygen Concentrator) or an OCD (Oxygen Conserving Device). Typically - these dose sized amounts of oxygen are delivered at the begining of each inspiration - thus providing a specific dose and size to meet the patients oxygen needs.
